Quick turnaround repair on motor's damaged plug housing
Feb 24

We provided a quick turnaround repair on this motor which had suffered plug housing damage, preventing the mating cable from being connected.
Plugs are a common feature of servo motors. Manufacturers often use them to ease swap out when they need replacing.
Another purpose is to ensure a new motor going on the machine has an identical connection to the one that comes off.
Often two plugs are present, one for power and one for feedback. But they can be susceptible to damage, such as bent or burnt pins, loose sockets and damaged threads on the plug housings. Our rapid repair service ensures a minimal downtime for our customers, so please get in touch if you have any servo motor plug problems.
