The importance of cleaning servo motors for performance and longevity

A servo motor in our workshop for cleaning

Although we are known for the quality of our repairs, cleaning servo motors is another vital part of our work.

The cleaning – critical for maintaining performance and longevity – removes dust, dirt, and contaminants, the main causes of premature motor failure.

Removing oil, debris, and foreign particles prevents abrasion and corrosion that can damage sensitive internal components.

Our image shows a magnetic rotor contaminated with brake dust after years of service. It will be meticulously cleaned by hand before reassembly.
