How it all began through one man's vision and expertise
Our founder, the late Ralph Southworth, began the company after a career that encompassed electronic engineering and design, computer programming, software and construction.
He also lectured in psychology and ran technical departments within computer retail before becoming part of the field and repair team at British Geological Survey.​
This combination of wide training, varied skills and experience led to the creation in 2011 of Quality Servo Motor Repairs, with its roots in solid engineering practice and diagnostic innovation. It was these qualities, and the careful recruitment of staff, that rapidly took it to the forefront of the industry.
