Quality Servo Motor Repairs is acquired by Westin Group

We are pleased to announce that W S Westin Group Ltd acquired Quality Servomotor Repairs Ltd (QSRL) on 15 July 2024 and has been operating the business since that date.

After many successful years working with Ralph Southworth, an agreement to purchase was made. Ralph is taking early retirement due to ill health. We are pleased that he has offered to assist if required during the transitional period on a consultancy basis.

QSRL has always operated openly and with integrity, we would like to assure you that we will continue to operate with the same principles. The pricing structure, quality and level of customer service enjoyed by customers over the years will be maintained and improved upon where possible.

We are delighted to welcome the existing, highly experienced team to the Group and we have appointed Adam Daffern, Technical Services Manager at Westin Drives Ltd, to manage and provide additional technical expertise to support the day-to-day running of the business.

Whilst QSRL will continue to be run as a separate company, as Operations Director for the Westin Group of Engineering Companies, I will offer further support. Additionally, there may be opportunities for us to explore other avenues of business with you that may be of mutual benefit.

We would confirm that all operational details remain the same as detailed on this letter with Ralph’s original mobile number being diverted to the landline. He is adapting to life outside QSRL and, we understand, keeping himself occupied with rebuilding some amateur radio equipment!

As we developed a more personal relationship with Ralph over the years, we realise that many of you will be in the same position and may wish to contact him to wish him well. If this is the case, and he has not already contacted you, please let me know and I will ask him to make contact. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you.
